Stop pretending you do understand, or love football ! No shame ! Let’s be honest, this competition takes too long. Moreover, watching all these people wearing football accessoires (too much fashion faux-pas), painting their faces and shouting in the Parisian subway can be exhausting…YES!
However, young Paris indigenes, I have a great news for you…there are lots of other things to do in the French capital ! And yes, you can avoid the Euro!
Here are my suggestions to go back to a normal life in Paris J and enjoy the week end far away from 2016’s Euro.
1.Exhibitions in Paris. I suggest the Paul Klee’s exhibition – at the centre Pompidou. This exhibition glorifies the spontaneous creativity of Klee’s work. I loved the Tunis trip paintings, but also all his interpretation of cubbism. Paul Klee is a giant innovator and discovering his work was really inspiring to me.
- Walk in the streets of Paris and choose a great place to have a break. Paris is an open-air museum. You can easily be fascinated by its beautiful architecture. I suggest you go to the carrousel du Louvres and watch the jardin des tuileries and the amazing buildings around. Sit. Take a deep breath and smile. This is Paris my dear !
- Shop at Colette concept store (http://www.colette.fr). If you are looking for inspiration, you need to go there. You can have a walk from the Carrousel du Louvres and easily reach the Rue saint-Honoré, after crossing Rue de rivoli. The concept store presents a selection of the trendiest things to wear, to read, to have, in Paris. All the trendsetters will Love the stop at Colette store!
- On the same street, at the 131 Rue Saint-Honoré, you can make a stop at the Algerian Salon de Thé, Laouz. You will find traditional, oriental, refined pieces of cake with original flavors like the famous makrout stuffed with figs! Yummyyyyyy !!!!!!
The Salon de Thé opened six months ago in a Parisian building. You can have a traditional oriental meal.
Bon appétit !!
- Gather some friends together around a cool activity : The Bowling. There many ones in Paris and you can easily contact them to book a place. Make sure there are no party poopers and bad losers among your friends. Let’s try to make a strike and make the bad losers get anxious !!
